    Planetarium

    The Planetarium introduces science and curiosity through immersive learning.

    • Features the latest 3D visual reproductions.
    • Shows include Journey to the Moon and Exploration of Planets.
    • Astronomical sky views, constellations, and the Milky Way.
    • Designed to inspire students and promote scientific thinking.

    A joyful attraction designed for children and families.

    • Circular track surrounding Gandhi Hill.
    • Capacity of 50 children per ride.
    • Operates with 2 bogies and 1 engine.
    • Offers a relaxed and fun way to explore the campus.

    Panoramic Viewpoints

    A serene space offering breathtaking views of Vijayawada.

    • Accessible via a 40-foot lift.
    • A 120-foot ramp at a height of 50 feet from a 500-foot hill.
    • Can accommodate up to 500 visitors at a time.
    • Enjoy 360° views of Vijayawada city and the Krishna river flow.

    Life & Legacy Structures

    These spaces recreate significant moments from Mahatma Gandhi’s life.

    • A replica of Birla House, where Gandhiji spent his final days.
    • Structures designed to reflect key phases of his journey.
    • Synchronised lighting narrates his life story.
    • Visual displays and re-imagined photographs bring history alive.

    Light & Sound Show (Upcoming)

    A historic experience being reintroduced for today’s audiences.

    • Originally launched in 1969 during the inauguration.
    • Inaugurated by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Frontier Gandhi).
    • Damaged due to cyclones in 1977, affecting sound and electrical systems.

    The show is now being rebuilt to depict:

    • Gandhiji’s early life.
    • His time in South Africa.

    Return to India and life at Sabarmati Ashram and Sevagram.

    International Centre & Cultural Spaces (Upcoming)

    Spaces designed for dialogue, learning, and global engagement.

    • International Centre with seating for 500 people.
    • Guest house with 90 rooms for visitors and scholars.
